Job Description-
• Provide best-practices perspective to Customers relating to compensation program strategy and design.
• Provide feedback to Customers on current program and process effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct special market analyses, as requested by the Customer.
• Provide market data related to the annual executive compensation review.
• Validate salary plans for reasonableness and adherence to Customer Policy
• Support activities requiring physical presence in the Cemex office (Eg: Printing/Dispatch/Process Voids) etc as required
• Competitiveness and compliance analysis for compensations and benefits.
Knowledge/Skills required:
• Experience administering compensation and benefits for US
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• In-depth compensation design and administration experience
• Experience assessing jobs/positions under FLSA exemption guidelines
• Job Evaluation methods: Market Pricing, Point-Factor/Hay Methodology
• Executive Compensation experience and knowledge
• Knowledge and experience with building and administering variable pay programs
• Demonstrated attention to detail with an appreciation of complexity and risk
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to create simple solutions
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience covering compensation programs for 10000+ employees
• Unionized
Good to have skills:
• International Compensation and Benefits experience (preferably Mexico or at least major European countries).
Educational Qualifications:
• Four-Year Degree (Bachelors) or equivalent experience; Masters degree preferred
• Preferred degrees: Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources Management Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or other related discipline.
• Compensation and/or HR professional Certification strongly preferred (CCP, GRP, SHRM, etc.)
