Job Description
- Preparation & Posting of Journal Entries (Standard &Adhoc)
- Good understanding of intercompany accounting.
- Prepare and post of various Intercompany journals like recharges, cost allocation between two legal entities.
- Perform monthly Intercompany reconciliations.
- Validate Intercompany mismatch and resolve the disputes.
- Coordinate with multiple teams for open item resolution
- Intercompany netting and settlement process.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, monthly to ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare accounting entries for a recently acquired business.
- Collaborate with team in understanding variance and effectively communicating with Business teams to mitigate any issues prior to Books close.
- Require explanation for plans to mitigate variances.
- Prepare all accounting schedules as requested by the business.
Key skills
- Excellent skills in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- MS Visio (Process Maps).
- ERP exposure, SAP, Black line and HFM Reporting.
- Exceptionally good communication- verbal and written.
- Excellent domain knowledge of RTR (intercompany)
- Eye for detail and problem solving.
- Should be able to communicate with controllers /her deep process knowledge & expertise.
Candidate Specification:
- Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience in Record to Report with Intercompany process experience
- Must work from office, 5 days in a week.
